Please note that the software comes with various help screens and a Guide Built into the software.
Software Guide
We suggest that you take the time to read the guide, which should only take around 15min. This income tax software is very easy and simple to use and by reading the help guide you will become more confident in its use.
The guide come built into the software and is accessible from the main screen. simply click on the icon on the main screen that says "Guide", this will open the main help screen, then click on the icon in the middle also called "Guide". You will be presented with 5 other icons which take you into 5 separate discussion points. Please take the time to read all areas, each area is only a page in length and will only take a few minutes to read.
We believe that once you read each area you will instantly understand the software, due to its simplicity, and you will have no need to read any of the material in the guide a 2nd time.
We have also put together a few videos for you to download and view. These video guides take you through an overview of the software, showing you how to use the main income tax calculations and forecasting section of the program.. Nothing beats a hands on example, no amount of reading can replace being shown, so also do yourself a favor and download and watch the videos.
Video Player
These video's are a practical guide to using the software, which means you can view some real time examples.
The video format is .mov - you will need a video player installed on your machine which plays .mov files. I suggest you download and attempt to play the video's first, you will soon discover if your player cannot run these files.
If you are unable to view the video's the current player installed on your pc, then you could go to this link and download and install the free version of this video player from Quicktime
We also note that computers sometimes are in the world of their own. I have several pc's in my office and for some reason half of them will play these videos fine using Quicktime and half won't (I give up asking why?)... So if you experience issues with sound and/or the video and you installed Quicktime, then you could try this player. Its a great video player, but I find its a bit of a hog on pc resources so I only use it when I need to. Click here to go and download the real player
Video Guides
To download the video guides in the exe fileclick here
We have placed the video files in an exe file to keep your download as small as possible. This will assist those individuals not on broadband or similar. This file is 66mg in size.
When you download the file, you will need to double click on the file itself to run and unpack the videos. The videos will unpack to your harddrive at this location C:\EasyAs
If you are unsure how to find the files, simply click on the "My Computer" Icon usually found on your windows desktop, click on " C drive" (your hard drive), go down the list of folders until you find "EasyAs", click on that folder and you will be presented with 3 videos. To run each video simply double click on each file.
The 3 files are called, 1_EI_Overview.mov.. 2_EI_Whatif.mov.. 3_EI_Forecast.mov
Yes we know the names look strange, but our other videos from our other software programs also install into the same place, so we have labeled them this way to allow them to be grouped together... eg.. EI means EasyAs Income Tax, so these 3 files will stay together if you download and view any of the other videos from our other sites.
